Textile fibers
Polyester
Polyester (PE) is a synthetic fiber that is strong, lightweight, and dimensionally stable, with good mechanical, chemical, and thermal resistance. It is water-repellent, quick-drying, UV-stable, and not prone to aging. It offers excellent tenacity, resilience, and long-term durability, even in humid or outdoor environments.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene is a lightweight, strong, and hydrophobic synthetic fiber, with excellent chemical resistance, low density, and good thermal stability. It does not absorb moisture, is easy to process, resistant to tensile stress and bacterial agents, and is ideal for technical, filtering, or moisture-exposed applications.
Thinsulate 3M
Thinsulate™ 3M is a sound-absorbing non-woven compound made of polyester and polypropylene fibers.
Polypropylene fibers are extremely fine and provide high-energy absorption with low weight.
Polyester fibers are added to strengthen the structure, while the polypropylene scrim protects and contains the fibers.
